Red Bank Shooting Victim Identified by Authorities

RED BANK – The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office revealed on Monday that it is still probing the double shooting incident on July 10 in Red Bank which resulted in one death and one injury. The deceased, identified as 36-year-old Mikal Muhammad from Red Bank, was discovered by law enforcement at approximately 3:13 a.m. on River Street’s 100 block, where he was pronounced dead at the scene. Another individual, who also suffered gunshot wounds, received medical treatment at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and has since been released, according to officials.

No comments have been made by the Red Bank Township Police Department concerning the incident.
